R&B AND HIP-HOP DANCES
The purpose of this page is to showcase selected videos of various Black originated R&B/Hip-Hop dances that were first introduced in the mid 1970s through 2011.
Most of these dance video showcase African American dancers. However, because R&N and Hip-Hop music & dance are found the world over, some of these videos also showcase non-Black dancers.
This page also includes some dancehall reggae dances such as The Butterfly that originally came from Caribbean sources but are or were commonly used for R&B/Hip-Hop songs.
