"Steelband Panorama finals 1998"
Video Description:
This video has very good shots of men and women playing in the tent of a large steelband during carnival in Trinidad and Tobago.. It also has good shots of a large crowd of people watching them play. One member of the band stands outside and moves rhythmically with the groups large flag. Many people in the crowd wave colored scarfs high in the air while they listen to the music.

mallory623 (1 year ago) Even though I thought it was another good performance, for some reason I didn't quite feel the same amount of excitement compared to his previous arrangements. Parts of it were great but as a whole...something lacking. I hate to criticize the band since I love them so much but there was just something about the performance that didn't quite do it for me. For the first time, I could really see the repetitiveness that some critics of Jit and Renegades have offered over the years.
no1pannist (1 year ago) Again Jit shows that he is a genius, d jam from 2.40 is one of the sweetest I've heard and does anyone realise that he changes meter from 5.34 to 6.12, he goes from cut time to 6/8, only a MASTER can do that in a panorama tune and not miss a beat.
