[writing in response to a comment in Swahili] hafidy (9 months ago) I think that is unfair to say. How do you know she did not compensate the Masaai for their participation?
I am not christian, but I think she did this video in order to promote her religion. Even the Reverend or Imam must be paid in order to feed their families.
This video is popular with many groups of people, not only Christians.

Wagumire (1 month ago) Mariah, kuna dawa means there is medicine and in this case she trlling us that JESUS CHRIST Is the ONLY medicine to the problem that all those people are going through and i believe her. Only The Man Christ Jesus!! Bless Him!

****
stevomwa (1 month ago) @MariahRose100
what the songs is saying is that Jesus Christ will provide cure for you. "kuna dawa" means there is cure so in terms of the songs its "Jesus Christ is the cure" hope that helps.

Azizip17 (37 minutes ago) Thanks for posting this video. This song has a nice catchy tune & beat. The video's visuals are beautiful and are very interesting (from the standpoint of someone who is trying to learn more about African cultures).
Thanks alsoto those who provided an English summary of the words!

****

butterfly4976 (1 year ago) I don't understand the language, but know she is praising God. I am from America and think it's amazing to see that others across the country are on fire for our Lord even with all the pain and negativity that surrounds us.

[writing in response to a deleted post]  coolwil2000 (1 year ago) what's messed up about that?..it's a good song and people in bars are not all evil..don't be judgmental

****
Josmunrim (1 year ago) This a nice song, and thats ok too to play a song like this in bars, everyone needs Jesus we are all sinners in His eyes, you know I heard a Pastor say he got saved when he was in a bar and heard a christian song when drinking, God is everywhere in our souls all we have to do is let Him in our hearts whether in church or in a bar....Thanks Miss wahome for such a song. Kuna dawa for all

****

baibegee (1 year ago) This is a very good comment Josmunrim, there are so many testimonies from pple who received Jesus in bars, in Discos only coz they heard Christian songs and God touched them! GOD IS A SPIRIT and He is everywhere and He accepts us how we are in any place, anyhow, in anyway! PLAY THEM IN DISCOS IN BARS coz that`s where the Devil is stealing and taking God`s people! AMEN!

****

berrynyanya (10 months ago) Bravo!!! josmunrim i totally and completely agree. could someone pliz go and play this song near a bar at my place. many souls will receive Jesus
****
djmrema (1 year ago) Very good song!

****
Good27Now (11 months ago) Nice song Esther. I am Glad this song is played in Bars because is shows that Sis Wahome's voice has managed to reach/preach in places where most Preachers can dare set foot!!. Even drunkards need to hear about Jesus. Eventually they may stop drinking liquor and start drinking from the Word of God!!. Amen. Peace, express from  USA.
