newstart2009 (10 months ago) Sometimes not everything comes out on DVD...This is from a telecast of the concert.. I noticed there are some songs also that are not on the Laserdisc of Sarah at Satin Doll 1985 that aired on Japanese TV....go figure....

Limeade04 (8 months ago) WHOEVER POSTED THIS! THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is my favorite SARAH song and I'm in tears at 3:07 and SCREAMED when I saw that there was finally a live version to WATCH and witness of this song outside of the Live at Monterey Jazz Album which I absolutely ADORE.. Thank you.. The Finesse, And careful creativity is SO full of grace, I forgot this is by the Beatles.. This is Sarah's and not Esther Phillips... Lord.. Just... Thank God for this Clip!!!

BEHAUTEPINK (6 months ago) Madame Sarah Vaughan is my all time favorite Vocalist and then Mahalia Jackson. She does "And I love Him" its due service that others tried but NO ONE...and I mean NO ONE does this SONG GREATER than Ms. Vaughan

douwd20 (4 months ago) Wow. Just wow. The skill in which she uses her voice is just 'divine'.

afrophonic (3 months ago) In the mood for Sarah...always! A classic, beautiful and rich voice with a delivery to die for! Her interpretations are always stellar. I love also that the cameraman chose only close up shots, rendering this performance totally intimate. Sophisticated on all fronts!! Thank you for this rare gem!
****
2baholic (3 months ago) You got that right. Only thing, I wish the cameraman lingered on that shot of her in that groovy mini dress. I saw Sarah perform often but never, never, never in a groovy mini dress.
