It's wonderful that they have adopted Indian Culture due to their ancestors past history but they are not Indian they are Caribbean.

SNSKreationz (4 months ago) im from trinidad. east indian decent. but i dunno nothing really about indian culture except roti, curry and parasaad. where i live now i cant tell ppl im indian because they i dunno their language or nothing. im from trinidad and makes me trini. just got some influences from india but we practically have our own culture. i.e. soca, fete, puncheon and wildmeat

Trinavara (3 months ago) brought here as indentured labourers by the british after slavery was abolished,its a blessing,the mixture of culture is refreshing and it has created a new race called 'dougla'(indian/negro mixed)thats why Trinidad is known for such beautiful women. .I love a dougla woman!!
