Video Description:
The vocalist sings this Jamaican style Gospel song and the choir and congregation move (dance) to the rhythm of the song in this video which is produced like a scene from a movie. "Hear My Cry O Lord" is based on Psalm 61 in the Christain Bible.

"Marvia Providence knocks Elephant Man from the top
Elephant Man's Bun Bad Mind, which is a take off from Marvia Providence's Hear My Cry Oh Lord, has been removed from the number one spot on the Choice FM Top 20 Reggae chart in London. Ironically, the song was ousted by Providence's Hear My Cry Oh Lord, which is also the number one song on the South Florida Reggae chart.
… Hear My Cry Oh Lord is the first number one hit for Providence. The song already hit number one locally and is number two on the New York Reggae chart".

"guys i know you must have heard this song which is very big in dancehall and gospel reggae circuits etc.

End of quote
