Visionary0001- Dude, you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

This film was shot in California between August and November of 1983, and released in theatres during the spring of 1984. (I was in it for 2 of the scenes at Venice beach.) VAN DAMME was also a background "extra" in this movie, but in neither of the clips featured here.

BLOODSPORT wasn't filmed until way later 1987, and much of it was filmed overseas.

Get your facts straight.

Reminds me of my grammar school days around the early to mid 1980's just before the murder rates increased in many American cities. From the South Side of ILL Chi-Town to South Carolina, I remember when some street Kats use to battle to cuts like this instead of brawlin or killin every time they had beef. I truly miss those days.

Taloman1 - Some complained of Ice T's voice. Back then, well, even to this day, he did not have much bass in his voice. I cannot think of anything else wrong with him. I like his rhymes.

gshovlin - LOved this film. The moves still look so hot. Ozone and Turbo's clothes look a bit strange but the moves are still so hot. I wish VH1 or MTV would do a documentary or concert getting all the artists together.

markash1971 - they was good at poppin and lockin, but back in the day, we was... alot better at breaking, we used to drop from handstand into wind mill then to turtle back to wind mill then to head spin without our feet touching the ground. always was a battle winner. would break my neck now if i tried it now lol

bkamara1- I dont know i dont wanna sound harsh to Shabadoo but i Boogaloo Shrimp was watered down in the battles because he would have just completely outshun Shabadoo! What I mean is the battle would look like its between Taco and Shrimp only. I mean Shabadoo is a grandmaster of locking but when it came to poppin and waving etc that was Taco's and Shrimp's forte! And i wonder why shrimp is doing locking routines in the battle and not popping.

1802graceave -...Popin taco was good too but not as good as Turbo...And there are so many Turbo's back then and now..Omorion can throw down like usher like hammer like chris brown like m.j they all just have different styles..Sorry but omarion is a great example.If you can dance u can dance.Turbo was the best dancer in that whole movie and he can do any style of dance and make it look good.Mj didnt go to poppin taco he went to turbo bagaloo shrimp!!...
