hoofer1 (3 years ago) Thanks for posting this! It was great even before he busted out the splits! Favorited. (It kills me when audiences cheer for the easiest steps, though. Hee. Uh, pullbacks are easier when you're sitting down, folks.)

twobarbreak (1 year ago) Reply yea, no kidding, But dancing and movement is what entertained the non-dancing public, and is part of the reason we don't see Tap as Mainstream entertainment.
Today Hoofers have put themselves in a closet (Tap Festivals)and pat each other on the back for their amazing skills...
I think there is room for both, and Teddy Hale is the proof..

SandraKayeII (2 years ago) Thank you so much for this clip. This is the tap dancer that Gregory Hines loved the most of all the tap dancers that he knew personally. Gregory Hines did the Bojangles movie but said tht Teddy Hale was his idol.

Melmeasy (2 years ago) This guy was Awesome. I'm surprise they don't have any other videos of this guy. At 2:41 it looks like he's doing the Moonwalk.

hoofer1 (1 year ago) My tap teacher explained to me tap dancers called it the "get off" - b/c it was a cool way to get off the stage. Tap dancers did the moonwalk way before MJ.
