"Street drummers on Michigan Ave."

Video Description:
Five African American teenage boys or young men play bucket drums on a busy Chicago sidewalk. The drums are white plastic buckets. The drummers sit on plastic crates. A bucket is placed in front of them for people passing by to put in money. In the middle of the drumline performance the drummers chant a call for those watching or passing by to put a donation in the bucket.

YouTube vewer comments were disabled for this video. In my opinion, these drummers were very talented. I've seen street drummers perform on the boardwalk in my hometown of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Usually, there's a large appreciative crowd around them. It's a creative way to make money (in both senses of that word).. I wonder if "bucket drums" count as a new form of musical instrument like the first steel drums (pans) made out of discarded 55 gallon oil cans were considered to be.
