muis63 (3 months ago) In English, based on the Spanish translation below:
Oh, it hurts, how it hurts
what you are telling me
your eyes are looking upon mine, your eyes are mine
Oh, how it hurts, your words hurt me so much,
can you believe that I am looking at you
I am crying , what kind of man would you think I am,
You will miss me the day I die, but you wouldn't want that..
the Spanish was a bit off so I tried to make the best out of it...

Jeffyito (1 month ago) Show I don´t think "Boreya" is a quechua word because the letter B doesn't exist in the Quechua alphabet. You can check it if you want to.

25kiza (2 weeks ago) This is not a peruvian andean music but a combination of instruments cleverly arranged for the taste of a new generation. It does not represent a true peruvian folklore. I don't know where they learned their dances, definately not andean, but comanche, apache or other tribes of the USA. Lo que dije, esta musica no es autoctona de los andes , pero una mezcla de diferentes arreglos para el gusto de una nueva generacion. Ama LLulla, Ama suwa, Ama quella,

vesilohikaarme (6 days ago) Many comments ago someone made a good translation to English:
It hurts, it hurts!
what you're telling me...
with your eyes over me
It hurts, It hurts!
what you're telling me:
"Will I look at you forever?"
What person do you think
has cried in this place.
When I die you'll suffer from my absence;
I don't want that to happen..
------------------------------ ----------------------
As with poems it is not easy to translate the lyrics of a song.
****
vesilohikaarme (1 week ago) They are singing in Quechua, a language spoken by more than 20 million people in South America (mainly in Peru and Bolivia). At least this language was not destroyed by the bastards Spaniards who brought nothing good to that part of the world or to any other place. Ah, by the way, I was born and raised close to 5,000 meters high in the Peruvian Andes so I know what I am talking about. Quechua is my mother tongue.
****
codydunavin (1 week ago) @vesilohikaarme well what are they singing about, this is such a cool song but i have no idea what their saying!
