kungura - CLASSIC... this must have been very early on, as the final version (or the popular version) was quite a bit slower....

both are great, and what a treat to SEE them in the making of this awesome piece

oldschoolsinger - John died in 1936 and they replaced him with Norman Brown on guitar, and added their dad singing bass. He stayed with the group until the mid 50's or so before retiring, and they continued on as a trio.

ToddCMorgan -hs ago As far as I can tell, this movie is not out on DVD, however, THIS and the Cab Calloway performance should be reason enough to release it!!! Not to mention Bing Crosby, The Boswell Sisters, and Burns & Allen!

harryoakley- Quite so - the complete film is so far not available. However, I have uploaded the best musical bits; enjoy!
