WRKSGRFTGR (Posted in 2009) -Wow, I know this song for some years now, I have it saved as a favorite in youtube, and today I heard it again after and it still touches me so much. I searched the net but could not find the lyrics. Does anybody have the full text? Would be a good opportunity to learn kikuyu (and improve some swahili). Which kind of Kalenjin language are some parts? Is it Meru?

mckenaful (Posted in 2010) Grace is singing in the Imenti dialect of Meru:
Aciari ii bamenyere aana bao bakeja kuria thina--parents should take care of their children so that they do not suffer.
Biiji bitikeje gukamata michinga na kuboraga--the boys so thay they do not carry guns and kill them
Na bukendia aana aari kiri akuru--and selling young gals to old men
Na gutuma aana kiri baria akuru--and you send the young kids to old people
Thirikari menyereni aana ni biewa--gov't should take care of kids, they're gifts!
