The people that moan about it the most are rich white people who very likely never will experience any of it other than reading about it in newspapers (written by the same type of white people who read about it in newspapers themselves) .

StageOneFilms - The video has such a nice message!

The red and green is representing skin colour, when they get a different coloured gift from eachother, they are scared that it will change their home, so they try to cover it up (supposed to represent feelings of mixed-race relationships being seen as bad in some places).

In the end, they get over it and mix their colours togeother as you see in the end, and they are happy sharing their colour.

It is an exquisite piece of contemporary music that is compelling and addictive. The creators, producers and directors deserve more than SAMA's - I think that competitors for MTV awards for concept & production of music videos should see this as a compulsory lesson in cross-pollination of cultures and music, with hugeky innovative poetic (creative) licence. Btw, I posted this on my facebook page & it was very well received. I also added this video to my online collection of YouTube music/dance video gems. Google Jambalayah. That video is listed under South African music. I'm not sure how I happened upon this song/video but I'm very glad I did.
