"Good-natured mayhem in rural Zululand among young men inspired by a warrior heritage and copious native beer and daga. There seem to be rules, but I couldn't see them. And no, they asked, but I didn't join in the fun! Stick fights among Zulu men are typically this informal, unlike the depiction in Last One Standing, and are no more structured than a "pick-up" touch football game at a picnic here in The States."
