Here is the text that is superimposed on the video screen in the beginning of the video:
"In a small playground in Los Angeles in 1967, a group of Afro-American* children play singing games."
* Note that all the children playing these singing games are girls who appear to be around 8-9 years old. Also, the term "Afro-American" has been replaced by the referent "African American."
