Video Summary:
This Senegalese song is in the Wolof language. The singer is the (now divorced) sister-in-law of Senegalese superstar Youssou N'dour. From the video and from some of the viewer comments I gather that this is a love song about a woman who is experiencing difficulties with the man she loves.

elilly006 -a very great singer from Senegal, I love what she makes!
****
mamebusso-she's a very mediocre singer with a very BIG name (that she got by marriage and is no longer married but kept the name.) Usually Senegalese women don't even change their names when they get married in the first place. Hmmmm
****
mamygueyesall-yes they do change there name because all of the woman in my family have changed there named when the got got married so you should get your facts straight okay
****
armik2-you call that mediocre ? you got cotton in your ears or you dont feel the feeling & the vibes in her voice & she can sing do you think Beyonce sings better !lol [Posted in 2009]

hansonjay67-am not fan from these peti music either , am more culturaly than you so look at the image of vivian she is too white outside than proud black woman, huh, why she bother to carry WIGS?? bet you carry them you cant be my standard, wheeeew am not trying to degrade her but this not an role model to you as an youngster i bet. look at the mirror first before you jump to the bleaching club. Bwaaaaaah

armik2-all black women carry wigs they call it their hats !lol !
& why they cant be modern like the white women they have to keep a tribe image ?
its a bad time we realize this is the 21 st century things change even in africa
****
armik2 -oh yea no contest white women wear wigs !all I say is ,my wife being African ,I believe she looks beautyful with her curly hair ,but she likes bettr to wear a "hat" as she says & about my comment it dont even look like mine ,but could be I was confused cos I love African women in general more than white women so sorry if I offended
****
afrinux-It could be her natural hair. In case you don't know she is half Lebanese half senegalese, and last time I checked, Lebanese do have straight hair. Do you think that Halle Berry carries a wig too? [Posted in 2009]

lmunezaa- I am offended by your comments . It's not because you "love african woman " that you have the right to critize and generalise on african. You really think that marring are dating an african women , give you th title of knowing all. Please!!! let me tell you something about african you are different, shape, shade and some wear wings, natural hair braids perm.... but at the end we are still beautiful and strong black women . so please next time not comment on us but embrace us [Posted in 2009]
