Video Summary:
Dancehall Dancing Video Tuff

The "Wacky Dip" was named after a beloved Jamaican choreographer, "Mr. Wacky" who was killed in 2005. This song and video are a tribute to Mr. Wacky. Here's information about Mr Wacky from his Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogle_(dancer)

"Bogle (22 August 1964 – 20 January 2005), born Gerald Levy, and also known as Bogle Dancer, Mr. Bogle, Father Bogle, and Mr. Wacky, was a Jamaican dancehall star. His stage name was a reference to Jamaican National Hero Paul Bogle.

Bogle was called the "Dancehall Master" and was best known for his dancing. He had the ability to seemingly create dances without effort and his dances would become extremely popular. Creator of the Willie Bounce (named after Bogle's friend and Black Roses Crew member Willie Haggart)[1], Wacky Dip, Urkle Dance, Sesame Street, Bogle Dance, Pelper, LOY [2], Jerry Springer, Zip It Up, Hotti Hotti Bogle, World Dance[3], Pop Yuh Collar, Row di Boat, Out and Bad, Sweeper, Stuckie[citation needed], and many other popular dances. ...

In the 1990s, Levy created the Bogle Dance, the scene's first crossover dance move. He was also a major influence on breakout artists such as Elephant Man and Beenie Man, who gave shout-outs to Levy in songs like "Row Like a Boat": "Seh Mr. Bogle have di brand new style/Come get di style, come get di style."/...

See this exchange from this video's viewer comment thread:

"CrUnKnBPrincezzz- "who is mr.wacky :DDD"

TheBestDancing-"go to the video

"Exclusive: Bogle, Ice, Keiva and more dancers pt 1"

In the beginning of the video "Exclusive: Bogle, Ice, Keiva....." He is the guy in the front with the white tee shirt and jeans in the middle. He is a legendary choreographer. Who created allot of dances you might have danced. It is a shame that you do not know who he is. He was murdered in 2005. This song is stating that he left back his dance movements.

-snip-

Subsequent comments also focused on the death of two other dancers, ICE, and ONeil. RIP to all three of these talented men.

Here's the lyrics to this song that was posted in the viewer comments thread by RICHIE0195. I've put my alternative transcriptions of two lines in brackets. The first alternate transcription [see me in da street] was also noted by another commmenter/

MR WACKY IS GONE

Mr. Wacky is gone
But his dancing lives on so everybody,
Get jiggy and just party on.
Sesame in da street, [See me in da street]
Watch di kids dem a dweet [Watch di kids dem a sweet]
Come join da party
All dancers come together as one. (alright)

Dis ya dance yah Mr. Wacky get strict
Mr. Wacky lef u wid a new dancing tip,

Azizip17-@RICHIE0195 Thanks for posting the lyrics. But I thought I heard "See me in da street" instead of "Sesame in da street" and I thought I heard "watch de kids dem a sweet".
My condolences to all the talented men associated with this video who have died. Thanks to all who are keeping their legacy alive!

beyondgreat- That is not what they are singing about. They are singing about Bogle. There is nothing in this song about white people. They are telling everyone that Bogle's death left a big dent in Dancehall. That he left everyone with a new dance move and that his dance moves will live on. They are not saying what you think.

****

****
athoughtactually- Shut up.

***
lovelykady-it isnt English....its patwah...

****
Jvilander-@lovelykady Thas not PATOIS. Hatians and Domicans speak Patois. Jamaicans speak English but with dialetc/ accent.

****
morganmorgy- @Jvilander On the contrary, we do peak patois. It's official name is french creole. However, with each territory, there are different variations of patois/creole. So maybe to someone who's not Jamaican, it just sounds like bad english.

****
dothedeed- @Jvilander we call it patois and if u know any thing about jamaicans u would know we dont care what u think - just hush and enjoy the video

****
Damien32- I'm from Barbados I remember I was in school when this music video came out if these guys only know what they inspired and started every single dancehall in Barbados had passa passa dancers, everybody wanted to learn how to wacky dip lol

Jamaicanwhiteboy12 -@catzlover91 he was shot when his house was robbed, he died in hospital 2 weeks later, RIP

****
Turmarick- I just heard the tragic news that O'Neil from voicemail has died.
He was shot during a robbery. He was taken to hospital but died today of his injuries.

What a shame that this beautiful country (Jamaica) is having so much tragedies.
I pray to Jehovah for his consoling power to be with all Jamaicans in this siege and to anybody who has lost somebody in death and is grieving.

****
DSURJUE38- So tragic, the violence in Jamaica must stop...What a waste to such precious life. You are gone but your talent lives on. R.I.P. O'neil.
