Kandgoods-lol, everyones' heritage is African....everyone on this earth...but they don't all embrace the pride- even some of my westindian friends won't accept it- EVEN my african friends won't class us as African...but we're not, we have our own identities now...we just are aware of where our ancestors were once upon a time.

GAkemetKiNg- Everyones heritage is African, but that is not at all what is meant-African culture is African Culture in Africa and the diaspora-We can acknowledge that AFrican Culture can be interpreted as the concept of Civilization, etc--but What is meant is the contemporary cultures IN Africa and around the recent African diaspora-Blacks lived in West Africa for AT LEAST 2thousand years--by Sheer logic, 200-400 CANNOT cancel out 2000 years, anthropologically and just plain LOGICally speaking.
