****
CheyenneJoy- see, it's so weird for me to think that people would make FUN of nappy hair. like don't get me wrong, i'm not saying your lying. but i guess us kids in utah just don't see that kind of hair a lot, and we're intrigued by it. my friends and i always tell our friends that are boys with nappy hair that we wish we had it, and that it's so awesome, and to please let us touch it.

myhappyness1- India is so amazingly talented. I am not my hair. This song says, to me, don't judge me by the texture or length of my hair. Judge me not. Look into my inside to see the kind of person that I am. Don't judge me by the color of my skin, judge me not. I am a beautiful and caring person. I want to bask in the glow of what God has blessed me with. I'm okay with it & you should be too. Blessings to all the people.

productions271 - Really powerful message,I often think of the issues african americans deal with, particularly women & its effects psychologically,if it's not bleaching the skin it's good or bad hair....just sad.

CHOCOLATE2010able- i was once natural at the begining of my 6th grade school year i was going through things and two weeks later i cut my hair and purmed it and now i regret i did it but now i know that its not what people think of you its wat u love about your self

JoiGMe- Im a 14 year old african american male who is growing his hair out. I've worn super close cuts all my life, now I'm tired of having to look like "mainstream" America. I wanna be who I am! What makes an afro unprofessional? Um its the way my hair grows natually! If people have a problem with it, too bad. This song is soo inspirational. I love India.
****
Laurajt86- Do it. im not black, but I don't think anyone should have to fit a label or "mainstream" look. Be yourself. What ever your style you wear, should reflect you, not what others want of you. HUGS
