****
Monthe02- This is an unbelievable lovely music. I love every sound, beat, word (although I do not understand it). Its lovely music. Can you imagine if its used for a sound-track of an African film. Story line - European Cap Verdean returns home. I am proud of at least being part of you - the African side offcourse. But I wonder why music like these do not get top awards in MTV, the box, TMF etc. Is it pure racism.

****
EdgardoAdad- This Song Would represent Cape Verde in the V edition of the Song Fest Mund in Greece

giaisadiva- i dont speak portugese but her song is really nice and has a great beat to it

****
cotcaughtmerged- the song is not in Portuguese, but in CapeVerdean Creole

****
Djinga- Broken portuguese

****
Camundonguinho- It's not broken portuguese, but an independent language, check your linguistic facts.

****
PedroPT-o Its Portuguese creole, with a decreolization process, not really an independent "language".

****
Djinga - You see ? It is not an independent or official language, just accept the fact that your roots go back to Portugal. There was no one living in any of the 10 islands when we first got there in 1462. It is broken portuguese, or portuguese creole. Check

****
luixmvwv - its not broken portuguese. If it is broken portuguese, portuguese is broken galician, or broken castellan.

****
PedroPT - dear camundongodoc, do you believe in what you wrote? that kabuberdianu crap in ethnologue is nothing but wishfull thinking... significantly biased, and part of a political agenda,

Its Portuguese CREOLE, Its called CRIOULO. never Kabuverdianu or something, tat's even ridiculous. Its not a dialect, but its not a language.

fulani31- You have no idea what you are talking about? Of course it's a new language. 80-90% of the words have been altered from it's orginaly form into new words. There is no official rule to when a dialect crosses over into a new language. But if they show a CV speaking pure CV creole in Portugal and they have to use subtitles it's pretty safe to say, it's crossed that threshold.

****
hugogaudenciolabutes-no that is portugese. crioulo is only used at home.crioulo kan not be writen just spoken

****
djodje789- Who told you this is Portuguese? this is Creole is spoken and it is written I am cape Verdian

****
humanzito -Very cool, very hot and a good feel good song

****
Dmvizzle- this is an awesome song and a great video. I can't wait for her new album Festa Mascarado to come out!

****
PopTARD4life - i love this song! shes awsum

****
fulani31- Portuguese people speak Latin Creolo? Human history has not ended it's an ongoing thing. It did not stop because PedroPT says so. lol

Do you think language is just vocab? Let me put it to you this way in lingua Kabuverdianu the words of Portuguese orgin have been africanized.

The Portuguese Colonizers never allowed it to be recognized as a language that's why it was just called creole.

****
Hechicero77- We, Papiamento speakers have the same debate with people who refuse to recognize it as a language @ fulani.

All languages have started as a dialect of another language. In some cases because of many "dialects" in a country one had to set a standard language (for example the Netherlands)

****
scrabblelover2383 - Where are the English lyrics to the song?

****
because0011- she's basically letting her love interest know how she feels. it just sounds so much better in creole. but it's a wonderful song.

****
WisdomRain- really nice
